OOTDBuy QC Photo Checklist.
Use warehouse QC photos to match the received item to your order, inspect visible condition and request missing views before shipping. For choosing a size from measurements, use the size and measurement guide.

Compare the product, color, size and quantity with your order. Check that the photos show the same item from different angles.
Photos on a public product page may come from other orders. They can help you compare items, but they do not show the condition of your own purchase. A QC badge on this site indicates listed photos, not an inspection by us or confirmation that the photos came from OOTDBuy.
Start with full views
Look at the front, back and sides before inspecting small details. Check for visible damage, stains, missing parts or differences from the option you selected.
Lighting and camera angles can change how colors and shapes appear. If a detail is unclear, ask for a closer or better-lit photo.
Check the details for that product
For shoes, check both shoes, the soles and size labels. Compare the pair and ask for a relevant measurement if you are unsure about fit.
For clothing, check measurements, seams, prints and fastenings. For bags, check handles, corners, lining and hardware. Photos show visible condition; they cannot confirm durability, material composition or whether an electronic item works.
| Product | Views or details to request |
|---|---|
| Shoes | Both shoes from comparable angles, soles and size labels; an internal measurement if useful and available. |
| Clothing | Front and back, size label, relevant print or stitching, and flat measurements that match the size chart. |
| Bags | Outside, corners, handles, lining and closures; close-ups of any visible damage. |
Ask for a useful measurement
Say exactly what you need measured. For example, ask for a hoodie laid flat and measured across the chest under the arms. Check that this matches the method used in the seller’s size chart.
The photo should clearly show the start and end of the measurement. A specific request is more useful than asking for more photos without explaining what you need to check.
Report problems before shipping
If the photos show a wrong item, incorrect size or visible defect, contact the agent or seller with your order number. Check the applicable return deadline before arranging international shipping.
Use the order and delivery help guide to prepare the request. QC photos help with visible checks, but they do not prove authenticity, safety or future performance.
How to decide what needs another photo
Separate a visible issue from an unanswered question. A clearly torn seam is something you can report with a full view and close-up. A dark photo that makes a color uncertain is a reason to request better lighting, not enough by itself to conclude that the wrong color arrived.
For a measurement, check that the tape follows the same points as the size chart and that both ends can be read. For shoes, compare matching views of the left and right shoe rather than judging shape from two different camera angles. Write down the specific detail you still need to see.
Does a larger QC photo count mean a better item?
No. The count describes available photos. Look for the views that answer your questions and check whether they show your own order.
What if a label is correct but the measurement looks wrong?
Check the units and measuring method first. Save the chart and ask for a clearer measurement if needed, then explain the difference using the order reference.
